Year 4 loved the cricket tournament and showed great sportsmanship! We have some very good batters and catchers :)

Getting into the swing of Summer 2 with our new topic and immersion day for Animals! :)

What a lovely way to start Summer 2! A project handed in for our new topic Animals before the homework has been set! What a star! Beautiful work too :)

Year 3 and 4 are having a wonderful day learning about the Ancient Egyptians. Cleopatra has come to visit us!!

With Summer 1 well under way and our topic Ancient Egypt, year 4 have been challenging themselves with some cross curricular activites. Below you will see pictures of the children working on a maths investigation called 'Making Pyramids'. Children learnt that multiplication was the trick to solving this challenge.

We had an excellent World Book Day at Racemeadow!

Year 4 voted on a theme for the reading corner. We have now got a new and improved area to enjoy reading. Don't forget just a little time spent reading everyday is good for your brain! 🙂
