Children are expected to dress appropriately whilst attending the Academy and to wear our uniform which is based on the colours of red, grey and white.
For boys, this is typically grey trousers, red or white polo shirt and a red jumper, preferably with the Academy logo.
For girls, a grey skirt, pinafore or trousers, white polo shirt and a red cardigan/jumper, preferably with the Academy logo. In warmer weather girls may wear dresses or skirts in the Academy colours. Gingham and red and white prints are popular choices.
We expect children to wear black shoes or plain black trainers. We suggest a sensible shoe without a heel as heels can be dangerous on the playground. We also discourage boots as these, too, can be dangerous and as the school buildings are warm, boots can lead to children’s feet getting too hot. It is perfectly acceptable to bring footwear to change into.
It is possible to buy our uniform from YourSchoolUniform.com using the following link:
Black or white shorts, plain white t-shirt or sports shirt, plimsolls (for indoor use only) or bare feet. Trainers are unsuitable. Children will be asked to work in bare feet when working in the halls unless they have a veruca.
As for indoor PE but with a tracksuit or sweatshirt and trainers.
Boys & Girls: As for PE, (trainers may be worn outside.)
Football and Netball kit will be provided for the children who represent the Academy in matches.
Please note: Football shirts with team logos are not appropriate in school.
