Lights, Camel, Action! by Year 1 and 2.
Sadly, after all our hard work preparing and practising, our Christmas play - 'Lights, Camel, Action!' had to be cancelled, but we decided to perform our songs for a video so that we could share them with you. We hope you enjoy listening to them and joining in!
We hope you enjoyed listening to our songs and that you have a wonderful Christmas with your families.
Merry Christmas from Year 1 and 2 and all at Racemeadow.
During our Dungeons and Dragons topic we will be learning to write a non-chronological report on castles in English, looking at front covers, contents pages, an index and a glossary and discussing the function of each. In History, we will be learning about our local history, including a visit to Tamworth Castle, about significant historical events and about people and places in our own locality.
Our topic for Autumn 1 is 'Out of this World'. In Geography, we will be learning what the Earth looks like from space and talking about the 7 continents, the 5 oceans, countries of the United Kingdom and their capital cities.
