We hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter holiday and not eaten too many chocolate eggs!
Our new mini-mission for the summer term is called Super Heroes.
During the next 6 weeks, you will have to track down your favourite superheroes who are hiding all around school in different locations.
You will be reading stories such as Superkid, Traction Man and Supertato and writing instructions and a missing poster.
In Geography, you will use directional language, aerial photos and maps of the school to track the heroes down.
In Science, you will name the parts of the body and use scientific experiments to understand the five senses.
In DT, you will be designing and making a cape for your own super hero, using a range of tools and materials.
In computing, you will create simple programmes to help the Roamer/Beebots follow a map/plan of the school.

Important information
To end our Mini Mission, `The Queen`s Hat`, we celebrated with a tea party fit for the Queen! We wore our finest clothes, practised our bows and curtseys and drank from the best china ;0)
We had a very special delivery this week......from The North Pole! A couple of very cheeky looking elves arrived for a short stay in our Year 1 Bubble. They will be quarantined in their little elf bubbles, for a week, to keep us all safe and then I am sure they may get up to a bit of mischief along with reporting to Father Christmas each evening on the behaviour of the children! We are all very excited! Watch this space for further Elf updates...
