In our class, we've been diving deep into the fascinating world of habitats. Through our exploration of woodlands, deserts, rainforests, and oceans, our little learners have been on an exciting adventure, discovering the wonders of nature.
Through hands-on exploration, storytelling, and role-playing, we've been able to immerse ourselves in the diverse habitats of our planet. From spotting creatures in the woods to imagining life in the hot desert, our young adventurers have been on a journey of discovery, learning about different climates, ecosystems, and the importance of protecting our environment.
In Reception, this half term, we have been taking a trip through the wonderful world of the traditional tales. Over the last three weeks we have enjoyed sharing the stories of The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Jack and the beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs and a range of other traditional stories.
We have been exploring the characters and their behaviours, for example ‘How did the bears feel when Goldilocks went into their house without asking first?’
We have been making story maps, trying to find out who had been in our classroom and creating wanted posters for the wolf. - Please log into your Tapestry account to see photographs of our learning this term.
