I joined the local governing board at Racemeadow in November 2018 after my daughter started in reception.
I have always had a passion for education and an interest in special education. I studied Education Studies combined with Special Needs and Inclusion at University and I've worked for Mencap supporting people with learning disabilities and Autism for 18 years.
I also volunteer at Atherstone GFS, GFS is a charity who support girls and young women. I work with girls aged 8-12.
I am committed to inclusion in everything that I do. I am the governor who oversees PHSE and the well-being or pupils and staff. I really enjoy visiting the school and spending time with the children. The children are always so friendly and willing to tell me about what they are learning.
