This page is where you can find information and additional work for your child to complete in the event that they have to self-isolate or that we have to close a bubble.

Most of our home learning is set on Purple Mash or Sumdog. Children have been given their login details and letters giving further information have been sent out to parents and carers.

Hi, Year 6! We are really missing you all here at school. I have managed to upload the next story video to your home page. You might remember that I am reading "There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom" by Louis Sachar - if you haven't listened to any of it yet, visit Year 5's home page and catch up then you will find the rest of the videos on here.

Hi Year 6, Mrs Ward here. I have started reading a Louis Sachar book called "There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom" at the end of each day for you to listen to. I am having problems uploading the videos to your class page so if you'd like to listen to the story, feel free to go to Year 5's class page and enjoy!

In school we used Charanga for our music lessons.

They have adapted units of work for used during COVID to avoid singing. The children have their own logins for Charanga Yuma which provides acces to home learnign in music. Click on the link below to access it.

Year 6 Mini Mission Overview

Our current Mini Mission is Fairtrade

Check out the 2Do's tasks on Purple Mash for science and geography activities about classification countries of the world.

This is our Fairtrade mini mission which has a geography focus on countries of the world and sustainability. We will also investigate classification of animals and some of the great scientists such as David Attenborough. Please discuss the vocabulary and answer the questions with your child while they are off school. Thank you.
